Winerie
Located in the heart of the Appellation Rioja, we found our unique building. The winery is integrated into the old buildings of the plot, respecting the materials of the time. Tradition and new techniques come together with a single objective, to create great wines. From the modern winemaking room. It also incorporates a temperature-control and stainless steel vats and equipment. And our ageing room, where our wines rest in select French and American oak Bordeaux barrels. There, the toasted aromas are integrated with the wine’s own aromas, giving rise to the complexity and personality of our elaborations.
All this work is developed with the experience and extensive trajectory of more than 130 years of work that supports us.
Reino de San Adrián
San Adrián is located on the same left bank of the Ebro river, what is known as Rioja del Reyno. Its origins go back to a small monastery located on the banks of the Ega river. At that time the monks worked the vineyards and produced their own wine, although it is known from past chronicles that the Romans already cultivated these lands. Villa of marquisate and royalty immortalized by Goya, San Adrián writes his history in Ribera Navarra. Forming a direct border with La Rioja, we have the excellent vineyards with which our wines are made.
Winemakers
Victor and David Fernández de Manzanos are now the fifth generation of a family dedicated to wine. More than 125 years devoted body and soul to what they do best, growing vines and making great wines. Born and raised in the most enological atmosphere, their lives are marked by the winery. Lives rooted in land of wine.
The search for the most exclusive terroirs, the choice of the best vines, the selection of the best grapes, and the supervision of each elaboration, it is their objective. All this to be able to share with us his passion, wine. Transmitted generation after generation.

Our vineyards in DOCa Rioja have an exceptional climate and soils for the production of high quality wines. Our plots are distributed throughout different municipal terms, which allows us to explore the qualities of each terroir and its singularities. Always carrying out a sustainable viticulture with respect for our environment. Our small plots are specially selected for each type of wine.
Terroir
La confluencia del clima atlántico y del mediterráneo, con temperaturas moderadas, precipitaciones medias y las corrientes de nuestro singular viento “Cierzo”, conforman un excelente microclima para el cultivo de la vid. Contamos con diversidad de suelos entre los que predominan los tres más conocidos: arcillo calcáreos, arcillo ferrosos y aluviales.
